Terms & Conditions

Effective June 2026

These Terms govern the booking and provision of cocktail experiences and related services (the "Event") by Spirit Games (Pty) Ltd ("we", "us") to the client named in the proposal or booking confirmation ("you"). By paying a deposit or confirming a booking in writing, you accept these Terms.

1. Bookings & confirmation

We provide a written proposal. A booking is confirmed only once we receive your written acceptance and the deposit. Dates are provisional until the deposit is paid.

2. Pricing & what's included

Our standard rate is R1,400 per guest (all-inclusive), minimum 15 guests. It includes our host/MC, bartender and bar back; our full mobile bar set-up; the cocktails and mystery-bag round; all spirits, mixers, ingredients, glassware and equipment; and the winning-team prize. Quotes are valid for the period stated (default 30 days), subject to availability. Bespoke requests, extra time, premium spirits, additional bar stations or a third-party venue may carry additional cost, quoted in advance.

3. Payment

A 50% deposit confirms the booking. The balance is due no later than 5 business days before the Event. Payment is by EFT to the account on our invoice; the booking is secure once funds reflect.

4. Guest numbers

Final numbers must be confirmed in writing at least 5 business days before the Event and are the minimum you will be charged for. The 15-guest minimum always applies.

5. Cancellation & postponement

By you: more than 14 days before — deposit may transfer once to a new date within 6 months (subject to availability); 14–7 days before — deposit forfeited; less than 7 days or a no-show — full amount payable. By us: if we must cancel for reasons within our control, we refund amounts paid or offer an alternative date; we are not liable beyond amounts paid to us.

6. The venue & your space

We are mobile and bring the experience to you. You must provide a suitable indoor space with safe access, a stable surface for the bar, and access to power and water. We bring equipment to protect floors and surfaces and leave the space clean, but you remain responsible for ensuring the space is suitable and permitted. We can arrange a third-party venue by separate agreement at additional cost.

7. Alcohol, age & responsible service

Alcohol is served to persons 18+ only; we may request proof of age and will not serve anyone intoxicated. We always offer non-alcoholic options. Where alcohol is served, the venue's liquor licence or an event liquor licence must be in place — you must confirm the venue's licence or ask us to assist with an event licence (which needs lead time and may carry cost). You are responsible for your guests' safe transport.

8. Your responsibilities

Ensure guests behave reasonably and follow safety instructions; we may stop service if safety is at risk. Tell us in advance about allergies, dietary or accessibility needs, and provide accurate booking information.

9. Liability & indemnity

We carry public liability insurance and take all reasonable care. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid for the Event. We are not liable for guests' conduct, the effects of alcohol, or loss arising from guests not following instructions or from circumstances beyond our reasonable control. You indemnify us against claims arising from your or your guests' acts or omissions or the condition of a venue you provide. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including under the Consumer Protection Act.

10. Equipment, force majeure & media

You are responsible for loss or damage to our equipment caused by you or your guests (fair wear and tear excepted). Neither party is liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control. We may photograph the Event for marketing; tell us in writing beforehand if you do not consent.

11. Privacy & general

We process personal information per our Privacy Policy and POPIA. These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest still apply. Variations must be in writing.
